Emil de Waal


Bandleader, musician, composer, associate professor, booker, managing director, head of a recording company, legal adviser and BA(Law).

Since 1987, he has been working in Denmark and abroad, mainly in Europe and North America.

Emil is legal adviser to artists in the film and music business. He has drafted and negotiated artist and production contracts for and with BMG, PDH, Jonas Elmer and Superstar Records, among others.

Graduated as professional musician (drums) and music educator from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in 1991

Associate professor at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory (Copenhagen) 1996-2007 where he taught drums and was the coordinator of several post-graduate programmes. Co-creator of the Music Management programme, including programme and exam regulations, and organiser and director of music events and activities for all conservatory departments.
